Beverley Arnell

Lauren Arnell

I am very proud to be a Co Founder of Milly’s Day Nursery & Pre School. I have worked within Childcare & Education / Social Care for over 25years. I started my career as a nanny whilst bringing up my own family and supporting my husband, who was in the British Army. I developed my career further by working as a trainer/assessor in childcare and Nursery Manager in Germany.

I then decided to take a change in direction and for nearly six years I worked as a Disability Adviser, helping people with disabilities and health conditions return to work. However my love for working with young children led to me returning to work within the Early Years and for two years I worked as a Senior Nursery manager for two outstanding nurseries in Dubai.

I feel very strongly that every child is an individual that needs to be nurtured and cared for in their own way. In order to best achieve this, I believe in having open lines of communication within our community and

I will always welcome your views, thoughts and ideas.I look forward to sharing and being a part of the exciting journey ahead with all our children and their families!

I am honoured to be co-owner of Milly's Day Nursery & Pre-School along side my mum; Beverley Arnell. I have completed my PGCE in Primary Education and currently work as the EYFS Leader at Harris Primary Academy in Essex. I have always had a passion for working with young children and I strongly believe that every child deserves a first class education.

The first 5 years of a child's life are crucial and early years teachers play an integral part in their development and pathway into further education and life.

I started my career in early years while living in Dubai, where I was a reception teacher. I quickly made my way up into management by restructuring and implementing the EYFS Framework across 2 nurseries as the Curriculum Manager.

I moved back to the UK from Dubai with my mum with the dream of setting up our own nursery and be able to offer the quality of education and care that all children deserve. Once arriving back into the UK I was asked to join Harris Primary Academy in Essex to help lead their early years department from good to outstanding.

Although I will be based in Essex I will be at Milly's during all the holidays and will be in close contact with the staff to ensure they are given the correct amount of support to ensure we can offer your children a first class learning experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns and I look forward to being apart of your child's journey to success.
